How rounds are checked

Nobody at the table, the dealer included, can choose an outcome, and your add-on checks each one.

Dice and roulette

The outcome is a /roll made by the game server and shown to everyone in the group. Your add-on reads it from the game's own system message, counts only the first roll from the right player with the right range, works out the result and your payout from the odds the table announced, and compares that with what the dealer credited.

Blackjack

A shoe can't come from one roll, so blackjack adds a sealed seed:

  1. Before bets, the dealer's add-on picks a secret seed and shows everyone its fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash).
  2. Your add-on adds its own random seed, so the dealer can't have picked a favourable shoe in advance.
  3. When betting closes the dealer rolls 1-999999. The seed, your seeds and the roll shuffle the shoe.
  4. After the hand, the seed is revealed. Your add-on checks it matches the fingerprint, rebuilds the shoe and checks every card that was dealt.

The seed stays sealed until the hand is over, because with it anyone could see the next card. A round whose seed is never revealed counts as the dealer's fault, in the players' favour.

Check a round yourself

Your add-on already checks every round. To check one again outside the game, export it with /casino export and paste it into Check a round, or look it up there by dealer and round number. A lookup also shows every other seat at the table, by seat number, never by name.

If a check fails

The round shows as a mismatch in your history. Report it on Discord with the round number; every round is also re-checked on our side from the dealer's log.
